So I’m Harry.

The more serious member of the duo. Well not really.

Who am I? Like Matt I’m just your average teenager (albeit with better spelling). I try to take a cheery outlook on life. After all why spend the time you’ve got worrying? Go out and crash a motorbike I say.

I’m a bit of an action-seeker to be honest. I like exciting activities that are a lot of fun. I started playing the drumkit 6 years ago and have been merrily bashing away ever since. This is fairly usual for me – when I start something I usually stick at it.

As well as playing the ‘kit I enjoy learning Judo at my local club, spending time with friends, reading and doing a bit of web design on the side.

I have been blogging for a while now and like to think I’m good at it. I started this blog for want of something new. I wanted to discuss serious issues with other people and express myself so: ‘Voila!’. I blog out of a desire to get my voice heard and out of the belief that someone out there wants to listen to me. You know who you are .

Bertie has a PhD in Begging for Food! He spends his time eating and cleaning himself (and begging for food).

Harry’s Personalities

Harry has writing schizophrenia! The different personalities are embodied in five different writing styles. This a step to make the blog more varied and interesting. It also has the useful effect of expanding Harry’s writing styles and allowing him to get five posts out of one subject .

Here are the Personalities:

The Cynic

The critical aspect of Harry. Usually used to examine subjects brutally or to offer in-depth reviews. Not much fun but very handy for those who like to get the finest detail on books etc.

The Comedian

The joker of the piece. He gives the blog a lighter tone and gives you a good laugh. He is the anti-thesis of The Cynic; offering humour and jolliness in place of brutality and nastiness.

The Optimist

Always looking for the best in situations. Highlights the best bits of books and gives everything a shiny, cheerful light.

The Advisor

The teacher of the blog. A source for knowledge on Firefox, blogging and writing. Good clear advice in an easy to understand style.

The Philosopher

The personality who is always asking questions and thinking things out. Interesting and relevant articles on politics and big issues. Covers , government and the decline of masculinity in society.

H – With or Without You by U2. It still gives me a shiver every time I hear it. It’s so beautiful and emotional and a song we can all relate to.
